उपहूता नः पितरः सोम्यासो बर्हिष्येऽषु निधिषु प्रियेषु । त आ गमन्तु त इह श्रुवन्त्वधि ब्रुवन्तु तेऽवन्त्वस्मान्

IAST Transliteration

upahūtā́ naḥ pitáraḥ somyā́so barhiṣyé ’ṣú nidhíṣu priyéṣu | tá ā́ gamantu tá ihá śruvántv ádhi bruvantu té ’vantu asmā́n

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Invited are our Fathers, Soma-worthy: swiftly to the barhis, to the treasured, dear deposits. Let them come hither; here let them hearken; let them speak with authority; let them help and guard us.

Translation

บรรพชนของเราทั้งหลาย ผู้ควรแก่โสมะ (Soma) ได้รับเชิญแล้ว จงรีบมาสู่บัรหิษ (barhis) คือที่ปูหญ้าพิธี มาสู่ที่วางอันเป็นที่รักและทรงคุณค่า ขอให้ท่านทั้งหลายมาที่นี่ ขอให้ท่านทั้งหลายฟังที่นี่ ขอให้ท่านทั้งหลายกล่าวด้วยอำนาจ ขอให้ท่านทั้งหลายช่วยและคุ้มครองเรา
