यदि वा मन्येत नास्मि शक्तः परकर्माण्युपहन्तुं स्वकर्मोपघातं वा त्रातुमिति बलवन्तमाश्रितः स्वकर्मानुष्ठानेन क्षयात्स्थानं स्थानाद्वृद्धिं चाकाङ्क्षेत ॥ कZ_०७.१.३६ ॥
Transliteration
yadi vā manyeta nāsmi śaktaḥ parakarmāṇy upahantuṃ svakarmopaghātaṃ vā trātum iti balavantam āśritaḥ svakarmānuṣṭhānena kṣayāt sthānaṃ sthānād vṛddhiṃ cākāṅkṣeta
Translation
หรือหากพิจารณาว่า ‘เราไม่สามารถรบกวนการดำเนินงานของศัตรูได้ และก็ไม่สามารถปกป้องการดำเนินงานของตนจากการถูกรบกวนได้’ ก็พึงพึ่งพาอำนาจที่เข้มแข็งกว่า แล้วมุ่ง—ด้วยการปฏิบัติงาน/การบริหารของตนอย่างมีวินัย—ให้ก้าวจากความเสื่อมไปสู่ความมั่นคง และจากความมั่นคงไปสู่ความเพิ่มพูน
