Related Themes: Agni Purana 78 (Kumbha-sthāpana and upacāra sequencing)
It specifies a pūjā sequence: worship in a kumbha set on a complete ritual seat, establish Oṁ (Praṇava) on the vardhanī arrangement, and then place the deity’s weapon-emblems (āyudhas) in the prescribed two positions.
Beyond narrative theology, it preserves actionable liturgical engineering—how to arrange seats, vessels, mantra-installation (Praṇava), and emblematic implements (āyudhas)—showing the Purāṇa as a manual of applied ritual practice.
Correct placement of the kumbha, seats, Praṇava, and āyudhas is treated as ensuring mantra-stability and ritual purity, thereby making the worship efficacious and merit-producing (puṇya) through orderly, consecrated procedure.
