Related Themes: Agni Purana 108 (continuation of varṣa-wise divine presences)
It teaches a practical puja-principle: the same Lord Hari may be worshipped through regionally established avatāra-forms (Kūrma, Matsya) and also through the universal Viśvarūpa, validating multiple iconographic and devotional approaches.
By linking theology (Vishnu-tattva), iconography (avatāra-rūpas), and sacred geography (Bhārata, Kuru region), it exemplifies how the Agni Purana compiles diverse domains—doctrine, worship-practice, and regional tradition—into a single reference framework.
It affirms that sincere worship of Hari—whether via specific avatāras or the all-encompassing Viśvarūpa—reaches the same Supreme, supporting inclusive devotion and the merit (puṇya) of honoring the Divine in all forms.
