अन्यैरपि महीपालैरेतदेव कृतं पुरा । तपोऽर्थिभिर्ज्ञानकृतैर्निर्विघ्नार्थे परंतप ॥ ५९.७ ॥

హే పరంతపా! పూర్వకాలంలో ఇతర భూపాలులు కూడా ఇదే కార్యాన్ని చేశారు. తపస్సు కోరువారూ, జ్ఞాననిష్ఠులూ, నిర్ఘాతం లేకుండుటకై ఇదే ఆచరించారు.
