The Glory of the Mathurā Sacred Landscape: Saṃyamana Tīrtha and the Twelve Sacred Forests

मग्नमात्रस्ततः पापः सद्यः प्राणैर्व्ययुज्यत ॥ तत्तीर्थस्य प्रभावेण जातोऽसौ पृथिवीपतिः ॥

magna-mātras tataḥ pāpaḥ sadyaḥ prāṇair vyayujyata || tat-tīrthasya prabhāveṇa jāto ’sau pṛthivī-patiḥ ||

మునిగిన వెంటనే ఆ పాపి తక్షణమే ప్రాణాలను విడిచాడు. ఆ తీర్థ ప్రభావంతో అతడు తరువాత భూపతి—రాజుగా జన్మించాడు।
