Praise of the Sacred Geography of Mathurā

सर्वसङ्गं परित्यज्य सोऽगच्छन्मथुरां तदा॥ ब्राह्मणावसथे सोऽपि वसमानो वसुन्धरे॥

sarvasaṅgaṁ parityajya so' gacchan mathurāṁ tadā || brāhmaṇāvasathe so'pi vasamāno vasundhare ||

సర్వాసక్తులను విడిచిపెట్టి అతడు అప్పుడు మథురకు వెళ్లెను. ఓ వసుంధరా, అతడూ అక్కడ బ్రాహ్మణుల ఆశ్రమ/వసతి స్థలంలో నివసించెను.
