पूर्णनीलाञ्जनाकारं वाराहं ते जनार्दन । दृष्ट्वा भीतास्मि भूयोऽपि जगत् त्वद्देहगोचरम् । इदानीं कुरु मे नाथ दयां त्राहि महाभयात् ॥ १.२४ ॥

pūrṇa-nīlāñjanākāraṁ vārāhaṁ te janārdana | dṛṣṭvā bhītāsmi bhūyo 'pi jagat tvad-deha-gocaram | idānīṁ kuru me nātha dayāṁ trāhi mahā-bhayāt || 1.24 ||

హే జనార్దన! ఘన నీలాంజనమువలె కనిపించే నీ వరాహరూపాన్ని చూచి నేను మరల భయపడితిని, ఎందుకంటే జగత్తు నీ దేహ పరిధిలోనికి వచ్చినట్లు అనిపించుచున్నది. ఇప్పుడు, హే నాథా, నాపై కరుణ చూపి మహాభయమునుండి రక్షించుము.
