दौहित्रं खड्गमित्युक्तं ललाटे शृङ्गमस्ति यत् । तस्य शृंगस्य यत्पात्रं तद्दौहित्रमिति स्मृतम्
dauhitraṃ khaḍgamityuktaṃ lalāṭe śṛṅgamasti yat | tasya śṛṃgasya yatpātraṃ taddauhitramiti smṛtam
లలాటంపై శృంగమున్న ‘ఖడ్గ’మృగాన్ని ‘దౌహిత్ర’మని అన్నారు. ఆ శృంగంతో చేసిన పాత్రమే ‘దౌహిత్ర’మని స్మృతిలో చెప్పబడింది.
