समुद्रमटवीं युद्धं विशंते लोभमोहिताः । लोभादि कार्यमत्युग्रं कुर्वंति त्याज्य एव सः
samudramaṭavīṃ yuddhaṃ viśaṃte lobhamohitāḥ | lobhādi kāryamatyugraṃ kurvaṃti tyājya eva saḥ
లోభముచే మోహితులైన జనులు సముద్రములోకీ, అరణ్యములోకీ, యుద్ధములోకీ కూడ ప్రవేశించుదురు. లోభాదినుండి ప్రారంభమై అత్యంత ఉగ్రకర్మ చేయువాడు నిశ్చయంగా వర్జ్యుడు.
