लंकासमीपे दृष्ट्वैव सरः कृष्णोऽब्रवीद्वचः । कुरुशार्दूल पश्येदं सरो द्वादशयोजनम्
laṃkāsamīpe dṛṣṭvaiva saraḥ kṛṣṇo'bravīdvacaḥ | kuruśārdūla paśyedaṃ saro dvādaśayojanam
లంక సమీపంలో ఒక సరస్సు కనిపించగానే కృష్ణుడు పలికాడు—“ఓ కురుశార్దూలా, చూడు ఈ సరస్సును; దీని విస్తీర్ణం పన్నెండు యోజనాలు.”
