शिवसंस्कार-दीक्षानिरूपणम् (Śivasaṃskāra and the Typology of Dīkṣā)

ब्राह्मणं क्षत्रियं वैश्यं द्विवर्षं च त्रिवर्षकम् । प्राणद्रव्यप्रदानाद्यैरादेशैश्च समासमैः

Transliteration

brāhmaṇaṃ kṣatriyaṃ vaiśyaṃ dvivarṣaṃ ca trivarṣakam | prāṇadravyapradānādyairādeśaiśca samāsamaiḥ

Translation

గురు బ్రాహ్మణుడు, క్షత్రియుడు, వైశ్యుడు—అలాగే రెండు సంవత్సరాలు పూర్తిచేసినవాడు, మూడు సంవత్సరాలు పూర్తిచేసినవాడిని కూడా—ప్రాణపోషక ద్రవ్యదానం మొదలైన సంక్షిప్త ఆదేశాలతో పిలవాలి।
