Sukta 6.44
अध्वर्यो वीर प्र महे सुतानामिन्द्राय भर स ह्यस्य राजा । यः पूर्व्याभिरुत नूतनाभिर्गीर्भिर्वावृधे गृणतामृषीणाम् ॥
ádhvaryo vīra prá mahé sutā́nām índrāya bhara sá hy asyá rājā́ | yáḥ pūrvyā́bhir utá nū́tanābhir gī́rbhir vāvṛdhé gṛṇatā́m ṛ́ṣīṇām ||
హే అధ్వర్యూ, హే వీరా, ఇంద్రునికై మహత్తరమైన సు-తాన (బాగా పిండిన) సోమాన్ని ముందుకు తెమ్ము; ఎందుకంటే అతడే ఈ యజ్ఞానికి రాజు. ప్రాచీనములైనవీ, నూతనములైనవీ అయిన గీర్భి (స్తుతులు) ద్వారా, స్తుతించే ఋషుల వాక్యాల ద్వారా, అతడు వర్ధిల్లుతాడు.
