Sukta 6.20
स वेतसुं दशमायं दशोणिं तूतुजिमिन्द्रः स्वभिष्टिसुम्नः । आ तुग्रं शश्वदिभं द्योतनाय मातुर्न सीमुप सृजा इयध्यै ॥
sá vetasúṃ daśamā́yaṃ daśóṇiṃ tū́tujim índraḥ svabhiṣṭí-sumnaḥ | ā́ túgraṃ śáśvad íbhaṃ dyótanāya mātúr ná sīm úpa sṛja iyádhyai ||
సర్వసహాయ సుమ్నంతో సమృద్ధుడైన ఇంద్రుడు వేతసువును—దశమాయ, దశోణి—అని పది విధాల నైపుణ్యమూ పది విధాల శక్తీ కలవానిని, ఎల్లప్పుడూ ప్రేరేపించి లేపాడు. ప్రకాశించుటకై అతడు ఆ తుగ్రుడు, శాశ్వతుడు, ఇభుడు అయిన బలవంతుని ముందుకు నెట్టాడు; తల్లి తన శిశువును దగ్గరికి చేర్చి పెంచినట్లు, అతడు తన కార్యంలో ఎదగునట్లు అతనిని నియమించాడు.
