Sukta 6.1
अस्मा उ ते महि महे विधेम नमोभिरग्ने समिधोत हव्यैः । वेदी सूनो सहसो गीर्भिरुक्थैरा ते भद्रायां सुमतौ यतेम ॥
asmā u te máhi mahé vidhéma namóbhir agne samídhotá havyáiḥ | védī sūno sahaso gīrbhír uktháir ā́ te bhadrā́yāṃ sumatáu yatem ||
హే అగ్నీ! నీ ఆ మహామహిమకై మేము నమస్కారాలతో—సమిధలు మరియు హవితో—యథావిధిగా పూజావిధానాన్ని నిర్వహిద్దాం. హే సహసుని సూనూ (బలపు కుమారుడా)! గీర్లతోను ఉక్థాలతోను నీకోసం వేదిని నిర్మిద్దాం; నీ భద్రమైన సుమతిలో మేము ముందుకు సాగి చేరుదుముగాక.
