स ते जानाति सुमतिं यविष्ठ य ईवते ब्रह्मणे गातुमैरत् । विश्वान्यस्मै सुदिनानि रायो द्युम्नान्यर्यो वि दुरो अभि द्यौत् ॥
sá te jānāti sumatíṃ yaviṣṭha yá ī́vate bráhmaṇe gātúm áirat | víśvāny asmai sudínāni rāyó dyumnā́ny aryó ví dúro abhí dyaut ||
హే యవిష్ఠ (అత్యంత యువ) అగ్నీ, బ్రహ్మం (పవిత్ర వాక్కు) కొరకు గమనమార్గాన్ని పొందినవాడు నీ సుమతి (సద్బుద్ధి-మార్గదర్శనం)ను తెలుసుకొనును. అతనికై ఆర్య-శక్తి ప్రకాశిస్తుంది: సమృద్ధి యొక్క అన్ని ప్రకాశవంతమైన దినాలు, దీప్తిమంతమైన విజయ-ద్యూమ్నాలు—ద్వారాలను విశాలంగా తెరచి వెలుగుతాయి.
