Sukta 4.19
एवा त्वामिन्द्र वज्रिन्नत्र विश्वे देवासः सुहवास ऊमाः । महामुभे रोदसी वृद्धमृष्वं निरेकमिद्वृणते वृत्रहत्ये ॥
evā́ tvām índra vajrinn átra víśve devā́saḥ su-hávāsa ū́māḥ | mahā́m ubhé ródasī vṛ́ddham ṛ́ṣvaṁ nír ékam íd vṛṇate vṛtra-hátye ||
ఇలానే, హే వజ్రధారి ఇంద్రా, ఇక్కడ సమస్త దేవులు—సుహ్వానులు, ఉత్సుకులు—నిన్నే ఒక్కడినే ఎన్నుకుంటారు. నీవు మహానవు; ద్యావా-పృథివి రెండింటినీ విస్తరింపజేసేవాడవు, ఉన్నత వృద్ధిగలవాడవు; వృత్ర-వధ కోసం వారు నిన్నే ప్రత్యేకంగా ఎంచుకుంటారు.
