Sukta 3.31
मिहः पावकाः प्रतता अभूवन्त्स्वस्ति नः पिपृहि पारमासाम् । इन्द्र त्वं रथिरः पाहि नो रिषो मक्षूमक्षू कृणुहि गोजितो नः ॥
míhaḥ pāvakā́ḥ prátatā abhūvan svastí naḥ pipṛhi pā́ram āsā́m | índra tvaṃ rathiráḥ pāhi no riṣó mákṣūmakṣū kṛṇuhi gojító naḥ ||
శుద్ధి చేసే వర్షధారలు వ్యాపించాయి; ఈ ప్రవాహాల అవతలి తీరం వరకు మమ్మల్ని స్వస్తితో చేర్చు. ఓ ఇంద్రా, రథబలంలో దృఢుడవై, మమ్మల్ని హానినుండి కాపాడు; త్వరగా, మళ్లీ మళ్లీ, మమ్మల్ని గో-జిత్—ప్రకాశకిరణాల విజేతలు—గా చేయి.
