Sukta 2.33
हवीमभिर्हवते यो हविर्भिरव स्तोमेभी रुद्रं दिषीय । ऋदूदरः सुहवो मा नो अस्यै बभ्रुः सुशिप्रो रीरधन्मनायै ॥
havī́mabhir hávate yó havírbhir áva stómebhī rudráṃ diṣī́ya | ṛdū́daraḥ su-hávo mā́ no asyái babhrúḥ su-śípro rīradhat manā́yai ||
హవి (ఆహుతి)లతో రుద్రుని ఆహ్వానించేవాడు, స్తోత్రాలు మరియు హవులతో ఆయనను సేవించదలచినవాడు—ఆ దృఢోదరుడు, సుహవుడు (సులభంగా పిలువదగినవాడు) అయిన రుద్రుడు ఈ విషయంలో మాకు హాని చేయకూడదు. తామ్రవర్ణుడు (భభ్రు), సుందర ఓష్ఠములు గలవాడు (సుశిప్ర) మా మనస్సు మరియు సంకల్పం పట్ల మృదువుగా ఉండుగాక.
