Sukta 2.33
परि णो हेती रुद्रस्य वृज्याः परि त्वेषस्य दुर्मतिर्मही गात् । अव स्थिरा मघवद्भ्यस्तनुष्व मीढ्वस्तोकाय तनयाय मृळ ॥
pári no hetī́ rudrásya vṛjyā́ḥ pári tvéṣasya durmatír mahī́ gāt | áva sthirā́ maghávadbhyas tanuṣva mī́ḍhvas tokā́ya tánayāya mṛḷa ||
ఓ రుద్రా! నీ హేతి (బాణం/ప్రహారం) మమ్మల్ని విడిచి దూరంగా మళ్లించు; ఉగ్రుని మహా దుర్మతి (దుష్టభావం) కూడా దూరమై పోవుగాక. ఓ మీఢ్వస్ (ఉదార దాత), దానశీలులకు స్థిరమైన రక్షణను విస్తరించు; మా బాలుడికీ సంతానానికీ మృళ్—కృప చూపు.
