Sukta 10.2
यत्पाकत्रा मनसा दीनदक्षा न यज्ञस्य मन्वते मर्त्यासः । अग्निष्टद्धोता क्रतुविद्विजानन्यजिष्ठो देवाँ ऋतुशो यजाति ॥
yát pā́ka-trā mánasā dī́na-dakṣā́ ná yajñásya manvaté mártyāsaḥ | agníṣ tád hótā kratu-víd vi-jā́nan yájiṣṭho devā́ṁ ṛtu-śó yájāti ||
మర్త్యులు—మనసులో బాల్యత్వంతో, సామర్థ్యంలో దౌర్భాగ్యంతో—యజ్ఞాన్ని యథార్థంగా గ్రహించనప్పుడు, క్రతు (అభిప్రాయం) తెలిసినవాడు, స్పష్టంగా అవగతం చేసుకున్నవాడు, అత్యుత్తమంగా యజించే అగ్ని—హోతాగా—ఋతు-క్రమానుసారం దేవులకు యజ్ఞం సమర్పిస్తాడు.
