दूर्वाभिरायुराप्नोति तन्दुलैर्धनवान्भवेत् । कदंबैर्वश्यमाप्नोति सर्वं त्रिमधुरप्लुतम् ॥ १४९ ॥

Transliteration

dūrvābhirāyurāpnoti tandulairdhanavānbhavet | kadaṃbairvaśyamāpnoti sarvaṃ trimadhuraplutam || 149 ||

Translation

దూర్వా గడ్డిని ఆహుతి ఇస్తే ఆయుష్షు లభిస్తుంది; బియ్యపు గింజలను ఆహుతి ఇస్తే ధనవంతుడు అవుతాడు. కదంబ పుష్పాలతో వశీకరణ శక్తి లభిస్తుంది—కానీ సమస్తాన్ని త్రిమధురం (తేనె, నెయ్యి, చక్కెర)తో తడిపి సమర్పించాలి.
