Narada (teaching in a technical/Vedanga-style context, traditionally in dialogue setting with Sanatkumara lineage)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It illustrates a technical, code-based way of expressing numbers and measures (bhūta-saṅkhyā style) while using stark imagery (cremation ground, night, mist) to mark an inauspicious or fearsome context—typical of cautionary or diagnostic passages in technical sections.
This particular verse is not a direct bhakti instruction; instead it belongs to the technical/encoded style of Book 1.3. Indirectly, it reinforces that precise Vedic knowledge and correct interpretation of signs/expressions supports dharmic practice, within which Vishnu-bhakti is later established as the highest refuge.
The verse showcases code-words used to denote numbers (a bhūta-saṅkhyā-like convention) relevant to chandas/metrical-technical literature and broader Vedanga-style precision in transmitting measurements and structured data.
