Narada (teaching in a technical/ritual register within Book 1.3)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames homa as a disciplined, intention-led ritual (prayoga) where specific pure offerings (dravya) are aligned with specific aims, emphasizing order, restraint, and dharmic means rather than mere wish-fulfillment.
Though primarily ritualistic, it implies bhakti through reverent action: offerings are made into the sacred fire as an act of faith and surrender, treating results as arising from properly performed sacred duty under divine order.
It highlights ritual-prayoga knowledge associated with Kalpa (Vedanga of procedure): selecting appropriate oblation substances (tila, bilva, flowers, lāja) and applying them to defined purposes within homa.
