Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It outlines a disciplined inner progression: recitation, withdrawal/dissolution (saṃhāra), contemplation of ātma-tattva, and finally illumination (prakāśa)—a movement from ritual structure to direct Self-knowledge.
Even within technical mantra-practice, the verse points beyond mere recitation toward inner realization; such ordered upāsanā refines the mind so devotion can mature into steady, luminous awareness of the Self (and thereby of the Lord).
It emphasizes prayoga (procedural application): the correct sequence of recitation and thematic sections (saṃhāra, ātma-tattva, prakāśa), reflecting a technical, method-based approach typical of Vedanga-oriented instruction.
