It frames graha-related suffering as something that can be reduced through disciplined upāsanā, emphasizing faith and correct ritual practice as a means to restore harmony in life.
Even within a Jyotiṣa context, the verse centers on ārādhana—devotional worship—showing that reverent practice toward divine powers (here, grahas) is presented as effective and doubt-free.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa: it explicitly links graha pīḍā (planetary affliction) with prescribed propitiatory worship, transitioning from Budha-ārādhana to instructions for Guru-ārādhana.
