Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches disciplined mantra-upāsanā: purifying and sacralizing the body through nyāsa, then completing the mantra-form correctly by adding the appropriate pada (“vidmahe”) at the proper place.
Bhakti here is expressed as reverent, rule-based worship: the devotee internalizes the deity/mantra through nyāsa and recites with precision, showing devotion through careful ritual attention rather than mere sentiment.
It reflects mantra-prayoga and phonetic/recitational discipline (Śikṣā) and correct pada-usage in a mantra sequence—practical rules for how specific words are placed and recited in ritual.
