Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada on technical ritual procedure)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches disciplined mantra-practice: sanctifying oneself and then consecrating the body through ṣaḍaṅga-nyāsa, so the practitioner becomes a fit vessel for worship and meditation.
By prescribing bodily consecration through mantras, it supports focused, reverent worship—preparing the devotee’s body-mind as an instrument for sustained Vishnu-bhakti and ritual attention.
Ritual technique and mantra-application: the procedural use of mantras for nyāsa (placing/consecration) on the six limbs, a technical component allied to Vedic ritual discipline.
