One-pointed devotion (ekāgratā) is portrayed as efficacious: Brahmā’s focused hymn becomes the means to restore cosmic function by awakening Viṣṇu. It elevates prayer/stuti as a disciplined act, not mere emotion.
Part of the pratisarga-protective narrative sequence: the cosmos is safeguarded through invocation of Śakti, enabling the preserver to act.
‘Dwelling in Hari’s eyes’ suggests Yogānidrā as the power that closes perception (the gates of awareness). To awaken the divine preserver is to request Śakti to withdraw the veil—symbolizing the transition from latent to active consciousness.
