Chapter 74: Non-anger, Forbearance, and the Ethics of Residence
जीवितं त्वदधीनं मे संतानमपि चाक्षयम् | तस्मात् त्वं जीव मे पुत्र सुसुखी शरदां शतम्,“मेरा जीवन तथा अक्षय संतान-परम्परा भी तुम्हारे ही अधीन है, अतः पुत्र! तुम अत्यन्त सुखी होकर सौ वर्षोतक जीवन धारण करो
jīvitaṁ tvad-adhīnaṁ me santānam api cākṣayam | tasmāt tvaṁ jīva me putra su-sukhī śaradāṁ śatam ||
నా జీవితం నీ మీదే ఆధారపడింది; నా అక్షయ సంతాన పరంపర కూడా నీ మీదే. కాబట్టి, నా కుమారా! నీవు జీవించు—అత్యంత సుఖంగా వంద శరదృతువులు జీవించు.
