Sukta 135
यद् गिरामि सं गिरामि समुद्र इव संगिरः । प्राणानमुष्य संगीर्य सं गिरामो अमुं वयम्
yád girā́mi sáṃ girāmi samudrá iva saṃgiráḥ | prāṇā́n amúṣya saṃgī́rya sáṃ girāmo amúṃ vayám ||
What I swallow, that swallow I utterly, as Ocean engulfs: having swallowed up the breaths of that man, we swallow him up entire, even we.
నేను ఏది మింగుతానో, దానిని పూర్తిగా మింగుతాను—సముద్రం అన్నిటినీ గ్రసించినట్లుగా. ఆ మనిషి ప్రాణాలను పూర్తిగా గ్రసించి, మేమే అతనిని కూడా సంపూర్ణంగా గ్రసిస్తాము—మేమే.
