उन्मत्ततामोचनम्। इमं मे अग्ने पुरुषं मुमुग्ध्ययं यो बद्धः सुयतो लालपीति । अतोऽधि ते कृणवद् भागधेयं यदानुन्मदितोऽसति

IAST Transliteration

unmattatā́mocanam | imáṃ me agne púruṣaṃ mumugdhí ayáṃ yó baddháḥ suyató lā́lapīti | áto’dhí te kṛṇavad bhāgadhéyaṃ yadā́nunmaditó ásati

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Release for me, O Agni, this man—this one who, bound fast, raves with babbling speech. Thereupon let him render unto thee thy due portion, when he shall be free from madness.

Translation

అగ్నీ, నా కొరకు ఈ పురుషుణ్ని విముక్తం చేయి—ఇతడు బిగిగా బంధింపబడి, బకబకలాడుతూ ఉన్మత్తుడిలా ప్రలాపిస్తున్నాడు. తరువాత, అతడు ఉన్మాదం నుండి విముక్తుడైనప్పుడు, నీకు నీ భాగధేయం (యజ్ఞ-భాగం) సమర్పించుగాక.
