इन्द्र त्रिधातु शरणं त्रिवरूथं स्वस्तिमत्। छर्दिर्यच्छ मघवद्भ्यश्च मह्यं च यावया दिद्युमेभ्यः

IAST Transliteration

índra tridhā́tu śaráṇaṃ trívārūthaṃ svastímát | chárdir yaccha maghávadbhyas ca máhyaṃ ca yāváya didyumébhyaḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Indra, a refuge firmly set in threefold wise, a triple rampart rich in welfare—grant thou thy covering both to the bounteous and to me; drive thou away the flashing (foes) from us.

Translation

ఓ ఇంద్రా! నీవు త్రిధాతు (మూడు విధాలుగా దృఢంగా స్థాపితమైన) శరణం; త్రివరూథం (మూడు పొరల కోట/రక్షాకవచం) కలవాడు; స్వస్తిమంతుడు. ఓ మఘవన్! దానశీలులకును నాకును నీ ఆవరణం—రక్షాకవచాన్ని—ప్రదానం చేయుము; మరియు మా దగ్గర నుండి దిద్యుమేభ్యః (మెరుపులా మెరుస్తూ) శత్రువులను దూరం చేయుము.
