नि येन मुष्टिहत्यया नि वृत्रा रुणधामहै । त्वोतासो न्यर्वता

IAST Transliteration

ní yéna muṣṭi-hátyayā ní vṛtrā́ ruṇadhā́mahai | tvótāso ny àrvátā ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

By that wherewith, in fist-slaying might, we press them down—by that may we shut in the obstructers: aided by thee, we press them down with the steed.

Translation

ఏ శక్తితో మేము ముష్టి-ఘాతక పరాక్రమంతో వారిని నొక్కి పడేస్తామో—ఆ శక్తితోనే వృత్రులను (అడ్డుపడువారిని) చుట్టుముట్టి నిరోధిద్దాం. ఓ ఇంద్రా! నీ సహాయంతో, అశ్వ-బలంతో కూడి, వారిని మేము కిందకు నొక్కుదాం.
