केतुं कृण्वन्नकेतवे पेशो मर्या अपेशसे । समुषद्भिरजायथाः

IAST Transliteration

ketúṃ kṛṇván aketáve péśo maryā́ apeśáse | sám uṣádbhir ajāyathāḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Making a signal for the signless, fair form for the unadorned, O youth—together with the Dawns thou wast brought to birth.

Translation

అకేత (చిహ్నం లేనివాడు) కొరకు నీవు కేతువును (సంకేతాన్ని) సృష్టిస్తున్నావు; అపేశ (అలంకారరహితుడు) కొరకు నీవు శోభాయుత రూపాన్ని ఏర్పరుస్తున్నావు. ఓ మర్యా (యువకా), ఉషస్సులతో కలిసి నీవు జన్మ పొందితివి.
