Sukta 136
यदल्पिकास्वऽल्पिका कर्कधूकेवषद्यते । वासन्तिकमिव तेजनं यन्त्यवाताय वित्पति
yád alpíkāsv àlpikā́ karkadhū́ka iva sád yate | vāsantikám iva téjanam yánty avā́tāya vítpati ||
When, in the little places, the little one settles like a karkadhūka; like a vernal goad the motions go on toward the windless calm, O lord of wealth.
చిన్నచిన్న చోట్ల ఆ ‘అల్పికా’ (చిన్నది) కర్కధూకంలా వచ్చి కూర్చునినప్పుడు, వసంతకాల అంకుశంలా ఆ తేజనం (ప్రేరక దండం) కదలికలను కొనసాగిస్తుంది; ఓ విత్పతి (ధనాధిపతీ), గమనాలు అవాత (గాలిలేని) శాంతి వైపు సాగుతాయి.
