महानग्नी महानग्नं धावन्तमनु धावति । इमास्तदस्य गा रक्ष यभ मामद्ध्यौदनम्

IAST Transliteration

mahā́nagnī mahā́nagnaṃ dhā́vantaṃ ánu dhāvati | imā́s tád asyá gā́ rakṣa yábha mā́m addhy-ā́udanam ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Mahānagnī runs after Mahānagna as he runs. Do thou protect these cows from that of his; O Yabha, eat the boiled rice for me.

Translation

మహానగ్నీ, మహానగ్నుడు పరుగెత్తినట్లే అతని వెంట పరుగెత్తుతుంది. అతని (హాని/దుష్టదృష్టి) నుండి ఈ గోవులను నీవు రక్షించు. ఓ యభా, నా కోసం ఉడికించిన ఓదనాన్ని (అన్నం) తిను.
