तस्माद् यज्ञात् सर्वहुतः संभृतं पृषदाज्यऽम्। पशूंस्तांश्चक्रे वायव्याऽनारण्या ग्राम्याश्च ये

IAST Transliteration

tásmād yajñā́t sarvahútaḥ sámbhṛtaṃ pṛṣád-ā́jyam | paśū́ṃs tā́ṃś cakre vāyavyā̀n āraṇyā́ grā́myāś ca yé ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

From that all-offered Sacrifice was gathered the pṛṣad-ājya; and it made the beasts—those of the air, the forest-dwellers, and the village-tame besides.

Translation

ఆ సర్వహుత యజ్ఞం నుండి పృషద్-ఆజ్యం (మిశ్రమ/చుక్కలతో కూడిన ఘృతం) సమీకరించబడింది; అదే పశువులను సృష్టించింది—వాయవ్య (ఆకాశ/వాయువుకు చెందినవి), ఆరణ్య (అడవివాసులు), అలాగే గ్రామ్య (గృహపాలిత) కూడా.
