यो द॒ध्रे अ॒न्तरि॑क्षे॒ न म॒ह्ना पि॑तॄ॒णां क॒विः प्रम॑तिर्मती॒नाम्। तम॑र्चत वि॒श्वमि॑त्रा ह॒विर्भिः॒ स नो॑ य॒मः प्र॑त॒रं जी॒वसे॑ धात्

IAST Transliteration

yó dadhré antárikṣe ná mahnā́ pitṝṇā́ṃ kavíḥ prámatir matīnā́m | tám arcata viśvámitrā́ havírbhiḥ sá no yamáḥ prátaraṃ jīváse dhāt

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

He who is set in the mid-air, as by his greatness—the Fathers’ sage, the forethought of men’s thoughts—him worship, O ye friends of all, with oblations: may that Yama ordain for us a further passage unto life.

Translation

తన మహిమచేత అంతరిక్షంలో స్థితుడైనవాడు—పితృల కవి, మనుష్యుల ఆలోచనలకు ముందుచూపు—ఆయనను, ఓ విశ్వమిత్రులారా, హవిస్సులతో అర్చించండి. ఆ యముడు మాకు జీవనమునకు దారి చూపే మరింత గమనాన్ని విధించుగాక.
