सोमो॑ मा॒ विश्वै॑र्दे॒वैरुदी॑च्या दि॒शः पा॑तु बाहु॒च्युता॑ पृथि॒वी द्यामि॑वो॒परि॑ । लो॒क॒कृतः॑ पथि॒कृतो॑ यजामहे॒ ये दे॒वानां॑ हु॒तभा॑गा इ॒ह स्थ

IAST Transliteration

sómo mā víśvair deváir udī́cyā diśáḥ pātu bāhucyútā pṛthivī́ dyā́m iva úpari | lokakṛ́taḥ pathikṛ́to yajāmahe yé devā́nāṃ hutábhāgā ihá sthá ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

May Soma, with all the Gods, guard me from the northern quarter; and Earth, slipped from my arm, be over me as it were the Sky. The world-ordainers, the path-ordainers—those who have their portion of oblation among the Gods—we worship: here may they stand.

Translation

ఉత్తర దిశ నుండి సోముడు, సమస్త దేవులతో కలిసి, నన్ను రక్షించుగాక; నా భుజం నుండి జారిన భూమి, ఆకాశంలా, నాపై పైగా ఆవరించుగాక. లోకాన్ని కట్టువారు, మార్గాన్ని కట్టువారు—దేవులలో హవిస్సు భాగం పొందువారు—వారిని మేము యజిస్తాము; వారు ఇక్కడ స్థిరంగా నిలిచియుండుగాక.
