तप॑सा॒ ये अ॑नाधृ॒ष्यास्तप॑सा॒ ये स्वऽर्य॒युः । तपो॒ ये च॑क्रि॒रे मह॒स्तांश्चि॑दे॒वापि॑ गच्छतात्

IAST Transliteration

tápasā yé anādhṛṣyās tápasā yé svàr-yayúḥ | tápo yé cakriré mahás tā́ṁś cid evā́pi gacchatāt ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

By tapas, who are unassailable; by tapas, who have gone to the sky-world; who by tapas have wrought greatness—unto those, even unto them also, may he go.

Translation

తపస్సు చేత ఎవ్వరూ జయించలేనివారు; తపస్సు చేత స్వర్లోకానికి వెళ్లినవారు; తపస్సు చేత మహత్తును సాధించినవారు—వారియొద్దకూ, అవునా వారియొద్దకూ కూడ, ఆయన చేరుగాక.
