महापातकयुक्तोऽपि गवां दानेन शुध्यति ॥ यश्चोभयमुखीं दद्यात्रभूतकनकान्विताम्

mahāpātakayukto 'pi gavāṃ dānena śudhyati || yaś cobhayamukhīṃ dadyāt prabhūtakanakānvitām

மகாபாதகங்களுடன் தொடர்புடையவனும் பசுதானத்தால் தூய்மையடைகிறான். மேலும் ‘உபயமுகீ’ (இருமுக/இருசின்னம் உடைய) பசுவை மிகுந்த பொன்னுடன் சேர்த்து தானம் செய்பவன் (கூறிய பலனை) அடைவான்.
