व्यास उवाच । भगवन्किं प्रभावोऽसौ योऽयं विष्णुहरिस्त्वया । कीर्तितो मुनिशार्दूल प्रसिद्धिं गतवान्कथम् । एतत्सर्वं समाचक्ष्व विस्तरेण ममाग्रतः
vyāsa uvāca | bhagavankiṃ prabhāvo'sau yo'yaṃ viṣṇuharistvayā | kīrtito muniśārdūla prasiddhiṃ gatavānkatham | etatsarvaṃ samācakṣva vistareṇa mamāgrataḥ
வியாசர் கூறினார்—ஓ பகவனே! நீங்கள் புகழ்ந்த இந்த ‘விஷ்ணு-ஹரி’யின் மகத்தான சக்தி என்ன, ஓ முனிசார்தூலனே? அவர் எவ்வாறு புகழை அடைந்தார்? இதையெல்லாம் என் முன்னிலையில் விரிவாகச் சொல்லுங்கள்.
