तमात्तं विह्वलं दृष्ट्वा निषीदेत्यब्रुवन्किल । निषादो वंशकर्ता वै तेनाभूत्पृथुविक्रमः
tamāttaṃ vihvalaṃ dṛṣṭvā niṣīdetyabruvankila | niṣādo vaṃśakartā vai tenābhūtpṛthuvikramaḥ
அவனை அச்சத்தால் நடுங்கி கலங்கியவனாகக் கண்டு அவர்கள் “அமர்க” என்று கூறினார்கள் என்று சொல்லப்படுகிறது. அதனால் அவன் ‘நிஷாதன்’ எனப் புகழ்பெற்று வம்சத்தின் தொடக்கமாக ஆனான்; அந்த வம்சத்திலிருந்து வீரப் ப்ருது தோன்றினான்.
