अस्त्रार्पणं यः प्रयतः प्रयत्नाच्छृणोति राजा भुवि भावितातात्मा । सोऽभ्येति युद्धे विजयं परं हि सुतांश्च धर्मार्थयशोभिरामाः

Transliteration

astrārpaṇaṃ yaḥ prayataḥ prayatnācchṛṇoti rājā bhuvi bhāvitātātmā | so'bhyeti yuddhe vijayaṃ paraṃ hi sutāṃśca dharmārthayaśobhirāmāḥ

Translation

பூமியில் எந்த அரசன் ஒழுக்கத்துடன், முயற்சியுடன், ஆயுதங்களை ஒப்படைத்த இந்த வரலாற்றை கேட்கிறானோ—அவனது உள்ளம் பக்குவம் பெறும்; அவன் போரில் உன்னத வெற்றியை அடைவான்; மேலும் தர்மம், செல்வம், புகழ் ஆகியவற்றில் மகிழ்விக்கும் புதல்வர்களையும் பெறுவான்.
