ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि मातृस्थानमनुत्तमम् । भैरवेशेति विख्यातं सर्वभयविनाशनम्
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi mātṛsthānamanuttamam | bhairaveśeti vikhyātaṃ sarvabhayavināśanam
ஈசுவரன் உரைத்தான்—மகாதேவி! அதன் பின் ஒப்பற்ற மாத்ருஸ்தானத்திற்குச் செல்ல வேண்டும்; அது ‘பைரவீச’ எனப் புகழ்பெற்று, எல்லாப் பயத்தையும் அழிப்பதாகும்।
