sa tena labhate saṃgaṃ bhūya eva yathā mayā | priyaiḥ sa labhate vāsamekarātraṃ vasannṛpa
Pulastya (deduced from adjoining chapters in Arbuda Khaṇḍa dialogue)
Tirtha: Aviyukta-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: King (nṛpa)
Scene: A sage narrates to a king: pointing toward the kṣetra, describing how ‘I too attained reunion’; visual shows the sage’s calm authority, the king listening, and a vignette of a pilgrim staying one night and rejoining loved ones.
Even brief contact with a sacred place—such as staying one night—can restore auspicious association and spiritual belonging.
The verse continues the Aviyukta-kṣetra māhātmya within Arbuda Khaṇḍa (the specific site is the Aviyukta sacred field as framed by the chapter).
Residence (vāsa) in the holy area, even for a single night, is presented as a merit-bearing practice.
