तेन शक्रादयो देवा जिताः संख्ये सहस्रशः । भयात्तस्य दिवं हित्वा गतास्ते वै यथादिशम्
tena śakrādayo devā jitāḥ saṃkhye sahasraśaḥ | bhayāttasya divaṃ hitvā gatāste vai yathādiśam
அவனால் இந்திரன் முதலிய தேவர்கள் போரில் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் ஆயிரமாயிரமாகத் தோற்கடிக்கப்பட்டனர். அவனுடைய அச்சத்தால் அவர்கள் விண்ணுலகை விட்டு, இயன்ற திசைகளில் ஓடினர்.
