ஓ அரசே, தேவர்களின் பழைய யுகத்தில் ‘மஹிஷ’ என்னும் ஒரு தானவன் இருந்தான். பிதாமகன் பிரம்மாவின் வரத்தால் அகந்தை கொண்ட அவன், எல்லாத் தேவர்களுக்கும் அச்சமாக ஆனான்.
