ब्रवीच्चार्बुदं नागं वरं वरय सुव्रत । परितुष्टोऽस्मि ते भद्र कर्मणानेन पन्नग
bravīccārbudaṃ nāgaṃ varaṃ varaya suvrata | parituṣṭo'smi te bhadra karmaṇānena pannaga
அவர் அர்புத நாகனிடம் கூறினார்—“நல்ல விரதம் கொண்டவனே, ஒரு வரம் தேர்ந்தெடு. நற்குணப் பன்னகனே, இச்செயலால் நான் உன்னில் மிக மகிழ்ந்தேன்.”
